“Bioinformatics: Ukrainian Scientific & Educational Projects” is an online resource launched in 2023 to advance contemporary bioinformatics research within Ukraine. This platform showcases scientific and educational projects undertaken by representatives from Ukrainian academic and industrial science, both at a national scale and through collaborative international programs.

    The scope of the resource spans bioinformatics, computational and systems biology, along with other advanced biological fields that require systems analysis, big data processing, computational methods, or specialized software tools. These fields include, but are not limited to:

• molecular biology
• genomics
• microbiology and virology
• phylogenetic and evolutionary studies
• animal, plant, and fungal sciences
• medical biology
• biostatistics.

    We support the advancement of open science. The Scientific Projects page offers descriptions of research conducted by leading scientific groups, along with a bibliography of publications that reflect the research outcomes. This resource also serves as a repository for primary data, thereby helping to meet open data requirements in alignment with current standards of scientific journals.
